ICBL (International Campaign to Ban Landmines): a network of more than 1400 Non-Governmental organizations in more than 90 countries, working for a GLOBAL BAN ON LANDMINES.

 

USCBL (United States Campaign to Ban Landmines): a coalition of approximately 500 U.S.-based human rights, humanitarian, faith-based, children's, peace, disability, veterans', medical, development, academic, and environmental organizations. USCBL calls for a total ban on antipersonnel landmines and a prohibition on the use, production, and transfer of cluster munitions that cause unacceptable harm to civilians.  

 

USCBL is affiliated with the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL), the1997 NOBEL PEACE PRIZE CO-RECIPIENT.

 

Cluster Munitions Coalition (CMC):  made up of more than 300 civil society organizations from 80 countries, CMC  works to protect civilians from the effects of cluster munitions. On 3 - 4 December 2008, 94 governments signed the Convention on Cluster Munitions in Oslo. The Convention prohibits the use, production, stockpiling and transfer of cluster munitions and places obligations on countries to clear affected areas, assist victims and destroy stockpiles.
